Vestry
The vestry functions much like the board of any nonprofit, with responsibility for finances and management of property and human resources.  Vestry members are legal representatives and agents of the parish, charged with specific responsibilities by the canons of The Episcopal Church.  The vestry shares leadership responsibilities with the rector.  The vestry's roles are defined by local, state and federal laws, diocesan and Episcopal Church canons, and the church's own constitution and by-laws.   Vestry members are called to a sacred ministry within their faith community.
