Great turnout for the Line Dancing Event  November 19th
Over 40 St Bart's folks and friends enjoyed a fun evening of contra dancing.  The caller and musicians were terrific. We should plan on making this an annual event!

14th Annual October Art Show a huge success
The Yarmouth Art Festival is a premier juried showcase for Maine artists launched by St. Bart's in  2009.   This year we raised $15,000 in net funds which will be donated to three of our Outreach programs:  Yarmouth Food Pantry, Friendship House and St. Elizabeth’s Essentials Pantry.  Many thanks to Joe Michaud and the countless volunteers who continue to make this annual event a growing success.

Maine Marathon Water Stop on October 2nd brings out  St Bart's volunteers of all ages
Thanks to our youth and adult volunteers who helped support the runners by cheering them on and providing water and other refreshment.
Blessing of the Animals Service October 2nd  a great turnout
Weather and pets cooperated for a lovely outdoor service.   The pets and humans were serenaded by the choir, supported by  Choir Director Christina Edelen on piano and Fred Edelen's stunning cello accompaniment.
Welcome Back Sunday September 11th at 9 am
Celebrating a new church year kicking off with the Creation Season, welcoming back our children to Sunday School and our choir with our new Organist and Choir Director Christina Edelman.  After the service we shared a delicious potluck meal with outdoor lawn games for all ages.

Annual Lobster Bake Fundraiser--We sold 100 dinners!
This year's Lobster-Bake-to-Go was another success.  We raised about $4,000 with net proceeds donated to our Outreach program YCHI (Yarmouth Compassionate Housing Initiative).  Thanks to Captain Jeff, his deck hand Tom and all the volunteers who put together the Lobster dinners to go.

Spring 2022 Youth Service Program
Each spring the Youth program at St. Bart's chooses a community outreach organization to support. This year we chose the emergency domestic violence shelter, Through These Doors, located in Portland.

The response from the congregation was so generous and we filled an incredible amount of their wish list items!  Our congregation donated comforters, bed sheets,  pajamas, coffee maker, coffee press,  packs of diapers, potholders, underwear/bras,  body wash, conditioner,  lotion,  deodorant and  toothpaste.

Thank you for keeping the “light” of love and hope and peace shining for those experiencing domestic violence in our community!

Ordination Ceremony for our Parishioner Heather Sylvester held June 19th at St. Luke's Cathedral
In joyful thanksgiving, many of us attended Heather's ordination to Deacon at the Cathedral. Blessings to Heather and the Sylvester family on this new journey.
Our Annual Lobster Bake on August 14th, 2021 was a success! Fun was had by all!
For the second year, we provided lobster dinners to go. Each dinner included one lobster, potato corn salad, cole slaw and blueberry buckle.   Many thanks to Captain Jeff Diggins for supplying and cooking the lobsters.  T  All net funds generated went to our our community outreach programs.

St. Bart's families donate 20 Kits to Maine Needs!
As part of the Education program's Youth Spring Service Project for our Sunday School kids, our families contributed 20 "kits" to donate to the non-profit organization Maine Needs.  Maine Needs will send these kits to families in need.  The "kits" varied from "Moment for Mom" to "Spring Care" to "Cleaning and Toiletries."  Our Education Coordinator, Pal Covie, said the non-profit was "thrilled and so thankful" for our donations.  Thank you, St Bart’s kids and families!
